LAS VEGAS – After a two-year hiatus made up of only Washington State and Oregon State, the PAC-12 has officially returned with an eight-team conference set for the 2026-27 season.
In its first season back after adding six teams to the conference this season, Boise State is favored to win the PAC-12 championship on college football prop betting sites and coming in with an extensive resume.

Boise State In A Class Of Its Own
Boise State comes in as the most decorated team in the conference, having won six total Mountain West titles, including the last three. Pushing in their favor on CFB sportsbooks even more is that joining them in moving from the Mountain West to the PAC-12 are San Diego State, Fresno State, Utah State, and Colorado State. All teams that they’ve bested.
San Diego State, Texas State, and Washington State are all Contending
San Diego State brings its conference-leading defense to the PAC-12 this season. Although a middling offense in the Mountain West last year, there are high expectations for QB Jayden Denegal.
Texas State makes the jump from the Sun Belt, led by sophomore QB Brad Jackson, who threw for over 3,000 yards, rushed for 700+ yards, and was responsible for 38 touchdowns last season.
While there are questions surrounding Washington State’s contending odds, they could be the surprise of the conference. Leading them at QB is sophomore QB Caden Pinnick, who played FCS last season for UC Davis. Pinnick finished third at the FCS level as a freshman with 3,206 yards and 32 touchdowns last season.
