PHOENIX – The College Football Playoff semifinals kick off on Thursday with the Miami Hurricanes favorite against the Ole Miss Rebels in the Fiesta Bowl. It followed up on Friday with the Indiana Hoosiers favored over the Oregon Ducks.
With both of these games being heavy hitters and full of explosiveness, the college football props are out for both games.
#10 Miami Vs. #6 Ole Missa
Carson Beck Total Passing Yards
- Over 235.10 -110
- Under 235.5 -118
Carson Beck has stayed under 200 total yards in just four games this season, two of which have come in the Canes two playoff games. Miami has heavily leaned on the run through their two postseason games, with Beck attempting 26 or less passes in both games.
That should be the case here against Ole Miss, as their run defense ranks fifth worst in the SEC, allowing 146.1 rush yards per game, while their pass defense allows just 194 yards per game.
Trinidad Chambliss Total Rushing Yards
- Over 24.5 -107
- Under 24.5 -122
As for Chambliss, this is too low of a number on sportsbooks with CFB prop bets based on his opportunity. In 12 games started this year, he’s averaged 10 rush attempts per game and is averaging 4.1 yards per carry for a 41.5 rush yard per game average. He’s also gone over 24.5 rush yards in eight of his 12 games this season.
#5 Oregon Vs. #1 Indiana
Dante Moore Total Passing Touchdowns
- Over 1.5 +114
- Under 1.5 -150
Do not buy into Dante Moore against this Indiana defense and take his under for passing touchdowns. Moore has stayed under 1.5 passing touchdowns in just six of 14 games this season, with one coming against Indiana earlier in the season and the other last week in the CFB Quarterfinal against Texas Tech.
Indiana is also coming off of what was arguably their most dominating performance of the season, where they defeated Alabama 38-3. The Hoosiers also haven’t allowed a single opposing QB to throw for over 1.5 touchdowns this season.
Fernando Mendoza Total Passing Yards
- Over 209.5 -114
- Under 209.5 -114
Lastly, the Heisman winner, Fernando Mendoza. This is a great spot to take him throwing over 209.5 pass yards. Yes, he stayed under against Alabama with 192 yards, however, they heavily leaned on the run for most of the game, given their 17-0 lead at the half.
In his last time out against Oregon, he threw for 215 yards. Oregon has also allowed two of the last four opposing QBs to throw for over 209.5 yards.
