CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – From Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, back to Charlottesville, Virginia, we have an ACC matchup slated for Week 0 between the NC State Wolfpack and Virginia Cavaliers.
This is expected to be one of the closer games of the week, with the spread on college football prop betting sites within a touchdown in favor of Virginia. There is also some light shade on the over 53-point mark on the point total.

This could be one of the closer and more explosive games of the day on North Carolina sportsbooks. Virginia brings in some new faces at each skill position in Beau Pribula at QB, Peyton Lewis at RB, and Da’Shawn Martin and Rico Flores out wide. NC State saw CJ Bailey break out last season for 3,105 yards and 25 touchdowns, with several transfer receivers coming in as well.
These two head coaches played last season and put up 66 combined points, with NC State taking a close 4-point win. Although Virginia is favored by less than a touchdown, expect the more experienced offense under Bailey at QB to keep things competitive and possibly even cash the plus money on the moneyline.
There are also questions surrounding Beau Pribula for Virginia and his efficiency after coming off a 1,941-yard, 11 TD, and nine-interception season. Virginia also brings in Eli Holstein from Pitt, who could make an appearance as soon as Week 0 if things go south.
