Moore, Mendoza, Chambliss All Contenders Going Into Week 6

College football prop betting sites saw a new favorite climb to the top of the Heisman odds board after Week 5 in Dante Moore. This comes mainly after Moore led Oregon into a hostile environment at Penn State and got the win in double overtime, throwing for 248 yards and three touchdowns.

Moore and Oregon now head into a bye before facing off with another Heisman contender in Fernando Mendoza. Mendoza has cemented himself as a true candidate to win the Heisman after their blowout win over then #9 Illinois in Week 4, where he threw for 267 yards and five touchdowns. He followed that up with a 233 yard, two touchdown, and one interception outing in Week 5 against Iowa.

The matchup between Oregon and Indiana in Week 7 should have major implications on the Heisman odds. Both Moore and Mendoza have tossed for 1,200+ yards and over 14+ touchdowns each with just one interception a piece.

A new name that has entered the contenders list is Ole Miss QB, Trinidad Chambliss. Chambliss has started three games this season for the injured Austin Simmons and has led Ole Miss to three straight wins, including two SEC wins and most notably, a win over then #4 LSU. He’s thrown for over 300 yards in each game and rushed for 266 total yards while being responsible for seven total touchdowns over that stretch.
