  • Arizona State has +9000 odds to win the National Championship.
  • The ASU football odds to win the Big 12 sit at +550.
  • There are +360 odds for Arizona State to make it to the CFP.
  • Their regular season win total is set at 8.5.
  • Sam Leavitt has +1600 odds to win the Heisman.

TEMPE, Ariz. – After one of the most shocking runs in college football in the 2024-25 season, the sportsbooks are definitely prepared this time around by cutting Arizona State's preseason odds to the extreme compared to last year.

There were little to no expectations on college football prop betting sites for the Sun Devils last season, with both their National Championship and Big 12 Championship odds coming in at +100000 and +10000 respectively, with the rest of their odds following suit.

Now, going into the 2025-26 season, following their Big 12 Championship last year and run in the College Football Playoff, oddsmakers have set their preseason odds accordingly.

Arizona State 2025-26 Season Odds

  • National Championship: +9000
  • Big 12 Championship: +550
  • Odds To Make CFP: +360
  • Regular Season Win Total: 8.5
  • Sam Leavitt Heisman Odds: +1600

Things are certainly looking in the right direction for ASU as their +9000 preseason odds are the first time that they’ve opened under +10000 odds to win the National Championship since 2006 when they opened at +5000. They’ve never won a National Championship in program history.

Last season, in their inaugural season in the Big 12, they cashed their odds on a conference title with +10000 preseason odds, which were the longest in the conference. Fast track to this season, the script has flipped completely, with their odds now being the shortest to win the conference. Prior to joining the Big 12, they won three conference titles in the PAC-12.

With their odds being favored to win the Big 12 title, this should set up bettors nicely to take them to make the college football playoff at +360 odds. Last season, they had massive +5500 odds to make the playoffs and cashed them as the conference winner.

Arizona State is coming off of just their second 10 win season since the 2013 season. The last time they went for 10 wins was in 2013, where they had an 8 win total. Their hit on the over last season broke a three year streak of unders.

Sam Leavitt could make history as the first ever Heisman winner to come out of Arizona State. Just last season, Cam Skattebo became the second closest to ever win a Heisman from Arizona State after finishing fifth in voting. Jake Plummer came in third place in 1996.
