Take Over In Points In Explosive Matchup
There is no reason for anyone to lean on the under here at college football betting sites. These offenses each scored a barrage of points in Week 1 and could very well carry that into Week 2. Louisville is coming off of a 51-point outing, while JMU put up 45 points in their first game.
Those arguing that this is just a sample size based on their Week 1 performance could look back to last season, where JMU had the fifth best offense in the Sun Belt at 33.3 ppg, and Louisville had the fourth best offense in the ACC with 36.5 ppg.
Looking back to their betting numbers from last season, although JMU went 4-9 in hitting over against their point totals, they still averaged a +1-point cover margin against it as well. On the other hand, Louisville was top-15 in the country with a 9-4 record in going over their projected point totals and by a +5.8-point margin.
As far as moving the ball up and down the field, each of them has over 450 total yards to show for in Week 1 and will certainly build off of those performances here in Week 2.
