Best Bets For Virginia Vs. Cal Week 10 College Football

  • Chandler Morris has +100 odds to go over 1.5 passing yards.
  • Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele passing yard total is set at 246.5.

BERKELEY, Calif. – In the middle of the Week 10 college football slate in the ACC, the #15 Virginia Cavaliers are on the road to take on the Cal Golden Bears.

This is one of the more interesting quarterback battles here between Virginia’s Chandler Morris and Cal’s true freshman, Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele. That said, we’re looking at both of their player props on college football prop betting sites for our best bets of the game.

Morris Lights Up Cal For Multiple TDs

  • Over 1.5 +100
  • Under 1.5 -130

Morris has emerged as one of the best quarterbacks in the ACC this season, and his 12 total touchdowns stands out as he leads the offense.

Do not let the fact that he’s only gone over 1.5 passing touchdowns in three of eight games this season fool anyone. This is a great spot against a Cal defense that has allowed five passing touchdowns across their last three games, including two games of 2+ passing touchdowns.

It also helps that Virginia is averaging 4.3 red zone scoring attempts and 3.7 red zone scored per game this season, both of which are in the top-25 in the country. Cal’s defense helps even more as they’re allowing opponents to walk away with points in the red zone on 86.36% of red zone trips.

JKS Answers With Plenty Of Passing Work

Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele Total Passing Yards

  • Over 246.5 -114
  • Under 246.5 -114

This is a good spot for JKS to continue his momentum on California sportsbooks against a Virginia team that sits towards the middle of the ACC, allowing 228.9 passing yards per game.

The true freshman has thrown for 245+ yards in five of eight games this season, including three of his last four games. The Cal offense also hasn’t been shy of throwing as of late, with JKS attempting 39 passes in each of his last two games.

As for the Virginia defense, they’ve allowed three of the last five QBs that they’ve faced to walk all over them for over 250+ passing yards. In their last five games overall, the Cavaliers have allowed 252 passing yards per game.
