SALT LAKE CITY – A massive top-20 matchup is set to kick off Big 12 conference play for #17 Texas Tech and #16 Utah Utes in Week 4. While betting value could be seen on the gamelines, there is also plenty of prop value as well.

There is a great QB battle in store for this one between Devon Dampier and Behren Morton. That said, we’re focusing on each of their college football props, specifically on Dampier’s rushing yard total and Morton’s passing yard total.

Dampier Continues To Shine On The Ground

Devon Dampier Total Rushing Yards

  • Over 66.5 -114
  • Under 66.5 -114

Dampier is one of the nation's best dual threat QBs, and we are seeing that so far for the Utes this season. He has 198 rushing yards through three games so far, which puts him at 66 rushing yards per game. He’s gone over in two of those three games, and each of his hits on the over has gone for 85+ yards on 13+ carries.

The only game he did not go over was in their second game against Cal Poly, which was a blowout 63-9 win where he attempted just four rushing attempts and did not even finish the game.

  • Pick: Over 66.5 Rush Yards

Utes Keep Morton In Check

Behren Morton Total Passing Yards

  • Over 260.5 -114
  • Under 260.5 -114

Brehen Morton has been one of the most explosive QBs this season, having totaled 923 yards through three games. However, it has all come against non-P4 teams, including Kent State, Oregon State, and FCS Arkansas Pine Bluff.

This will be his first real test of the year, and it comes against one of the top defenses in the country, in Utah, who are top-15 in total yards allowed at 224 yards allowed per game. Utah hasn’t allowed any opposing QB to throw for more than 200 yards yet this season. While that does include non-P4 opponents, it also includes Nico Iamaleava at UCLA, who went 11/22 for 136 yards.

  • Pick: Under 260.5 Pass Yards
