Stanford Cashes Plus Money Odds To Open Season

Bettors should not let the line movement distract them from history and what has transpired all time between the two. In their previous four meetings, which all happened in Hawaii, Stanford has walked away with a notable win. All four of those wins have come by double digits. That includes their most recent meeting in 2023 that ended 37-24.

Outside of their previous meetings, things are leaning toward Stanford as well. As far as experience goes, Frank Reich is stepping in at head coach after his six-year stretch as an NFL head coach. They also have sixth year senior, Ben Gulbranson (Oregon State transfer), starting under center, along with three upperclassmen receivers in CJ Williams, Bryce Farrell, and Caden High.

As for Hawaii, redshirt freshman, Micah Alejado is taking over as QB1 after starting just one game last season. It’s also worth noting that under head coach Timmy Chang, Hawaii is 0-6 against Power 4 teams. Their last win against a P4 team came back in 2020 against Houston in the New Mexico Bowl.
