STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Following a deep run in the 2024-25 College Football Playoff, the Penn State Nittany Lions have high expectations going into 2025-26 with all of their season betting odds sitting towards the top of several different odds boards.

Penn State’s odds are competitive all over college football prop betting sites, including their National Championship odds, Big 10 Championship odds, their win total, and Drew Allar’s Heisman odds.

Penn State 2025-26 Season Betting Odds

  • National Championship: +750
  • Big 10 Championship: +250
  • Win Total: 10.5
  • Drew Allar Heisman Odds: +1600

The +750 preseason odds that Penn State is boasting to win the National Championship are their lowest set preseason championship odds in well over 20 years. They made the College Football Playoff for the first time in the 2024-25 season and had +2000 preseason odds to win the championship. They’ve won two National Championships in history way back in 1982 and 1986.

Similar to their National Championship odds, their odds to win the Big 10 Championship are their shortest since 2009 when they had +275 preseason odds. They’ve won four total conference titles in history in 1994, 2005, 2008, and 2016. They won in 2008 with +500 preseason odds and in 2016 with +6000 odds, their highest preseason odds point since before 2008.

Their win total is where things get a bit sketchy and bettors should consider playing the under. Although they’ve been consistent in hitting double-digit wins with nine hits in their last 15 seasons, they’ve only crossed over 10.5 wins twice since 2005. They did hit the over last season with 11 wins.

Lastly, this is Drew Allar’s best shot at winning the Heisman and becoming just the second player from Penn State to win. John Cappelletti was the first back in 1973. Allar is coming off of a Heisman-worthy season already with 3,327 passing yards, 24 passing touchdowns, and eight interceptions.

College Betting Restrictions In Pennsylvania

Those who plan to bet on Penn State in Pennsylvania can do so, however, there are restrictions when it comes to betting in collegiate player props. State-regulated sportsbooks like DraftKings do not offer any form of player prop odds, which would include Drew Allar’s passing yard totals each week or any player props for any college athletes in the country. Those types of betting odds are only available on certain Pennsylvania sportsbooks such as Bovada or BetUS.
