College football prop betting sites list Ohio State as overwhelming favorites, giving the Buckeyes a three touchdown cushion over the Nittany Lions.
Here are a couple of player props that bettors may want to consider for this weekend’s game.
- Julian Sayin Under 253.5 Passing Yards -115
Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin has found his groove as the season has progressed, sitting at 1,872 passing yards and 19 touchdowns with just three interceptions through the first seven games.
He went 36-42, passing for 393 yards and four touchdowns in his last game against Wisconsin, so the under on this line may come as a surprise to some.
However, Sayin has yet to face a pass defense playing at the level of Penn State, who is tied for the ninth lowest yards allowed per pass attempt in the country at just 5.8 yards per attempt.
For reference, Wisconsin ranks 109th in the country in pass defense efficiency, allowing 8.1 yards per attempt.
Sayin also attempted a season high 42 pass attempts against Wisconsin, only having thrown 30 or more pass attempts one time through the first six games, which came against Ohio.
Expect the Buckeyes to take a more conservative approach and keep the ball on the ground.
Bo Jackson Over 50.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
On that same note, Ohio State running back Bo Jackson should be in line for a big game.
Jackson has recorded at least ten carries in each Big Ten game for the Buckeyes thus far, but has broken the 50 yard mark just twice in those four games.
However, he should have more room to run against this Nittany Lions defense, who has allowed 4.4 yards per carry, the 77th best mark in the country.
His most recent outing against Wisconsin was the only game in which Jackson averaged less than 4.5 yards per carry, and Wisconsin boasts a top 40 run defense in the country.
With an expected positive game script against a middling run defense, Jackson could be in for a big day, sitting at -230 odds as an anytime touchdown scorer and +200 odds to score twice at college football prop betting sites in Ohio.
