LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Just ahead of the 2025-26 college football season, the Louisville Cardinals odds have taken a jump forward compared to what they came in at last season.

There are five sets of preseason odds that we’re looking at for Louisville on college football prop betting sites. Those are their National Championship odds, odds to win the ACC, regular season win total, odds to make the college football playoff, and Miller Moss’s odds to win the Heisman.

Louisville College Football Odds

  • National Championship: +8000
  • ACC Championship Odds: +900
  • Win Total: 8.5
  • Odds To Make CFP: +295
  • Miller Moss Heisman Odds: +5000

Louisville’s National Championship odds are headed in the right direction compared to where they’ve been over the past few seasons. Their +8000 preseason odds are the first time since 2017 that they’ve opened under +10000. Louisville has never won a National Championship in its history.

Similar to their National Championship odds, this is their first time since 2017 that they’ve opened under +1000 to win the conference title. Since joining the ACC in 2014, they’ve never won a conference title. They’ve been to just one conference championship game, that came in 2023, where they lost.

As far as their win total goes, they’ve done well against their betting win total each season, but have struggled against an 8.5 win total. Over the last five seasons, they’ve gone 3-1-1 in going over their projected win total. However, since 2014, they’ve only gone over 8.5 regular season wins three times. They’ve also never made an appearance in the college football playoff.

In history, Louisville has just one Heisman winner in Lamar Jackson, which came back in 2016. Going into this season, they are in a good spot to add one more with Miller Moss transferring to Louisville from USC. He’s coming off of a 2,555 yard, 18 TD, and 9 Int season last year. With his transfer, all of Louisville’s preseason odds on college football sportsbooks have shortened.
