TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – One of the most recognizable brands in all of college football, the Florida State Seminoles, will have all eyes on them this season to see if they can overcome their 2-10 finish last season.

Just ahead of the season, college football prop betting sites are expecting a bounce back with where they’ve set FSU’s odds going into the year. That goes for their odds across the board, including their National Championship odds, ACC title odds, win total, odds to make the CFP, and Thomas Castellanos Heisman odds.

Florida State Season Odds

  • National Championship: +25000
  • ACC Championship: +2500
  • Regular Season Win Total: 7.5
  • Odds To Make CFP: +800
  • Thomas Castellano Heisman Odds: +8000

After an undefeated 2023 season and ACC Championship win that ended with a CFP snub, many were sure that the Seminoles would make their case in 2024. They had +3000 odds to win the title, +300 odds to win the conference, and a 9.5 regular season win total.

Oddsmakers were completely mistaken here after the Noles finished 2-10 on the season and are now facing an uphill battle on several odds boards. Their +10000 odds to win the National Championship are their highest in the last three seasons, however, it is their fifth time over +10000 since 2019. They last won the National Championship in 2013 with +1600 preseason odds.

Since winning the ACC Championship in 2023 with +170 odds, their preseason odds to do so have climbed in the last two seasons since. Their +2500 odds to win this season are the fifth time since 2019 that they opened over +1000 odds. Each of their last four ACC Championships have come with +300 odds or less. FSU has won the second most ACC titles in conference history with five.

The Seminoles are staring at a 7.5 win total going into the season, which is their lowest over the last two seasons. Last season was also their first time staying under in the last three seasons. Since 2016, they have stayed under their projected win total six times and under a 7.5 win total five times. FSU has never made the CFP since the committee began voting.

Getting into Thomas Castellanos’ Heisman odds, while further down the odds board, history is on his side with FSU producing three Heisman winners all time and all of them being QBs. Jameis Winston was the most recent in 2013 with +600 preseason odds.
