Beau Pribula Injury Update
Mizzou, QB1, Beau Pribula suffered a season ending dislocated ankle injury in their Week 9 loss to Vanderbilt, which was before they went on their Week 10 bye.
Head coach Eli Drinkwitz did give an update on Pribula’s injury, saying that his dislocated ankle did not include any sort of break or fracture to the bone.
Heavy Lean On The Aggies
Without Pribula under center, it’s hard to imagine Mizzou being able to keep up with the Aggies' explosive offense. When true freshman Matt Zollers came in the game in relief of Pribula, the offense as a whole looked flat as he threw for just 138 yards at a 60.9% completion rate and just one touchdown, which was the only score the offense managed after the injury.
Mizzou also relies heavily on the run, with Ahmad Hardy leading the way for a team total of 235.5 rush yards per game. On the opposite end, Texas A&M has one of the stronger run defenses in the country, allowing just 118.5 rush yards per game.
On offense, the Aggies are pouring in 37.8 ppg while their defense allows 23.6 ppg. A massive +14.2 scoring advantage against their opponents. Texas A&M has won six of eight games this season by 6+ points.
With a mixture of Zollers in at QB and the explosiveness of the Aggies' offense, we’re rolling with Texas A&M to run away with this one by a big margin on college football sportsbooks.
