OXFORD, Miss. – Trinidad Chambliss is the new Heisman Trophy favorite at +325, a price that implies about a 23.5% shot, after a fourth-quarter touchdown run capped Ole Miss’s 32-24 upset of LSU and dropped Miami’s Darian Mensah to second at +375.
A Touchdown Run Flips The Board
Chambliss’s price has come in from +1400 to +325 on the heels of Ole Miss’s upset of LSU. His 363 passing yards and two scoring throws set up a 14-yard go-ahead touchdown run with 6:14 left. A $100 bet on him now wins $325. The same bet paid $1,400 at his previous number.
Mensah’s price shortened as well, from +500 to +375. He was +475 when he overtook CJ Carr for the top spot the week before.
