It also doesn’t help that Tait Reynolds replaced preseason starter Christopher Vizzina under center.
For Cal, also at 2-1, they sit in the top half of the conference in yards (428.3) and points (31.3) and are led by one of the top QBs as well in Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele who has 866 yards and seven touchdowns already. A recipe for disaster for Clemson’s secondary, which has allowed 238 pass yards per game.
