While Tennessee has been streaking with 42+ points in their first three games, they’ve yet to face a real test in which Texas presents. Tennessee has won every game by at least three touchdowns with a 1-2 Georgia Tech team as its only P4 opponent.
Texas needs no introduction as the #1 ranked team, especially after knocking off Ohio State to claim that top spot. While the offensive numbers lean on Tennessee given the strength of their schedule to this point, Texas’ defense is the greatest test that they’ll face to this point and possibly even the entire season. The Longhorns allow just 12 points and under 300 total yards per game.
Expect Texas’ experience to play a massive role in this one against an impressive QB in Faizon Brandon, who is still a true freshman at the end of the day.
