Memphis, Liberty, Delaware and UNLV also moved as Saturday’s results reshuffled conference boards from the American to the Mountain West.
Navy’s Fall And Memphis’ Rise In The American
Florida Atlantic built a 38-7 lead behind five touchdown passes from quarterback Caden Veltkamp and a 60-yard Collin Rogers field goal, the longest in program history, then absorbed a late Navy push to win 38-30. The loss dropped Navy from the top of the American board to the back half of the field.
