After spending his first two years putting up less than 800 yards and seven touchdowns at USC, Robinson broke out after transferring to FSU for 1,081 yards and six touchdowns in 2025.

This offense is built around Duce Robinson. Many are even calling the Ashton Daniels transfer a slight upgrade from Tommy Castellanos last season. His yardage total was top-15 in the country. He caught 56 of 96 targets for an average of 19.3 yards per reception and had five games of 120+ yards. Not to mention, he did all of this while Florida State sat with just a 42% pass play percentage.
As far as the schedule, while he may get off to a slow start, he finishes the ACC slate against Clemson, Boston College, Pitt, and NC State. All teams were in the bottom-10 in the ACC last season in pass/receiving yards allowed. SMU is also on deck in Week 1 and was the second-worst secondary in the conference.
Looking at the receiving room as a whole, the emergence of Micahi Danzy and Jayvan Boggs, along with 4-star recruits Devin Carter and Jasen Lopez, will force secondaries to play as honest as they can, leaving Robinson to operate with less coverage.
