Late Night CFB Week 5 Betting: Baylor vs ASU, Cincinnati vs AZ

  • Arizona State is a 4-point favorite against Baylor.
  • Arizona is a touchdown favorite against Cincinnati.

PHOENIX – Both Arizona and Arizona State are hosting Big 12 After Dark games in Week 5 college football. Arizona State hosts Baylor while Cincinnati is on the road against Arizona.

College football prop betting sites are leaning on both the home teams to get wins in Week 5. Arizona State at 4 points and Arizona at 7 points.

Baylor Vs. Arizona State Betting Lines

  • Moneyline: Baylor (+155) vs. Arizona State (-180)
  • Spread: Arizona State -4
  • Total: 49

Starting things off, Arizona State is favored at home against Baylor. Baylor could very well keep this one close as they’re riding a three-game winning streak by 10+ points each coming in and have a top three defense in the Big 12, allowing just 13 points per game.

While Arizona State’s offense sits in the top half of the Big 12 with 38 points per game, it’s padded by a 70-point outing in Week 1 against Morgan State. Outside of that win, they’re averaging 23 points per game.

Given Baylor’s defensive strengths and Arizona State’s lack of offense against Power Conference opponents, this is a lean on Baylor keeping things close.

  • Pick: Baylor +4

Cincinnati Vs. Arizona

  • Moneyline: Cincinnati (+220) vs. Arizona (-270)
  • Spread: Arizona -7
  • Total: 55.5

It’s hard not to slam Arizona to run with this one, and that’s exactly where we’re leaning. Outside of the 28-17 loss to BYU on the road, Noah Fifita has looked tremendous in leading the offense with double-digit wins over every other opponent. He’s led the Wildcats to a +13 scoring advantage on average.

Although Cincinnati is averaging just over 40 points per game, the bulk of it comes from a 62-point outing in Week 2 against Western Carolina. Against FBS opponents, they’re still averaging over 32 points per game, however, their defense has struggled to reciprocate, with their last two games winning by five points or less.

  • Pick: Arizona -7
