Liberty’s Strong Portal

It’s clear that Liberty went into the offseason with a point to prove and money to spend with a strong transfer portal class coming in. They have plenty of experience to rely on at QB with Ethan Vasko returning and Deshawn Purdie, and Jaylen Henderson transferring in.

Transfer RBs Kanye Udoh and Kam Davis make up the backfield with Rashawn Cunningham and Makai Jackson filling out the receiver room. All Power Four transfers.

They also return 57% of production from last season including 65% on offense and 50% on defense making up 105 returning starts.

Hilltoppers At The Top Of The Hill

This is more of a wait and see pick with tremendous roster turnover with only 32% returning production being the worst in the conference. Receiver KD Hutchinson was named to the All-CUSA preseason first team with Rodney Tisdale Jr. expected to be the QB1.

They are a consistent 8+ win team with the most championship game appearances among current members.

Gamecocks Make It Three Straight CUSA Title Games?

Jacksonville State has now been to two straight conference title games and are in position to make it three with the second most returning production at 57%. They’ve been to two straight title games and are 1-1 with most of the same roster still intact. Caden Creel has high expectations after finishing his freshman season for 1,514 pass yards, 1.075 rushing yards, and 16 total touchdowns.

Blue Hens Keep Fightin

This is where the value comes in on college football prop sites as Delaware finished its first season jumping from FCS to FBS going 7-6 behind one of the top passers in college football last season in Nick Minicucci. Minicucci finished with 3,683 pass yards which was sixth in the nation and 23 touchdowns. Its roster is completely bought in with 62% returning production leading the conference.
