PITTSBURGH – Week 3 college football kicks off with an ACC matchup between the Pitt Panthers and Syracuse Orange in one of the longest-running annual games in the conference. It’s the Panthers coming in with the major advantage on the spread.
College football prop betting sites are laying 10.5 points on the spread in favor of Pitt, and rightfully so. Syracuse is coming off a rough loss to Cal in Week 2, where they led for most of the game.

Pitt Continues To Roll
Syracuse sold big time in Week 2 against Cal. The Orange were up the majority of the game until the fourth quarter, when they were up 18-14 before Cal scored a go-ahead touchdown in the final minutes of the game. Steve Angeli looked horrendous, to say the least, despite having 306 yards. He averaged roughly six yards per completion, was sacked three times, and threw three interceptions.
For Pitt, they have the backing of college football sportsbooks with the nice run they’ve had through the first two weeks of the season. They allowed less than 300 yards to Miami (Oh.) to win a game where Mason Heintschel went for 453 yards and seven touchdowns. They followed it up with a 12-7 win against UCF where weather played a major factor.
They held UCF to just 206 yards. This same Central Florida team totaled 560 yards in Week 1, scoring 73 points.
Pitt has gone 18-2 in the last 20 meetings, winning 13 of them by 10+ points. That said, we’re leaning on Pitt to add another big win to their undefeated schedule and in covering fashion.
